Valley View Post Acute in El Monte, CA, seeks a Director of Nursing to lead the entire nursing team and oversee staffing, policy development, and resident safety. The role reports to facility leadership and requires strong clinical and regulatory expertise.

The DON will coordinate QA activities, MDS and care planning, manage department budgeting, and ensure compliance with state surveys while maintaining resident confidentiality and delivering high-quality care.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school (BSN preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of nurse management experience.
• Must be in good standing with State Board of Nursing and maintain CE/licensing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and PCC (Point Click Care).

Responsabilidades

• Overall management of the nursing department and staffing levels.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures; ensure resident safety and respect.
• Recruit, hire, and train nursing staff; coordinate pharmacy services.
• Participate in QA, MDS coordination, and state surveys; ensure regulatory compliance.
