Job summary

Vetter Senior Living invites experienced RNs to join a Director of Nursing Leadership Development Program designed to prepare you to lead clinical teams and influence quality outcomes within long-term care.

The immersive program spans 6 to 12 months, combining mentorship, leadership training, and hands-on operational exposure. Successful completion may lead to Director of Nursing opportunities across the Vetter network.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of five years of long-term care nursing experience.
• Prior supervisory, management, or leadership experience.
• Geographic flexibility and willingness to relocate within the Vetter organization.

About the Program

The Director of Nursing Leadership Development Program provides an immersive learning experience that combines mentorship, leadership training, and practical operational exposure. Participants work alongside experienced clinical leaders to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully manage nursing services within a long-term care setting.

The program typically spans 6 to 12 months, depending on individual progress and readiness for placement.

Leadership Development Areas

Participants will develop expertise in key areas, including:

• Clinical leadership and staff engagement


• Quality assurance and performance improvement


• Regulatory compliance and survey preparation


• Financial management and resource planning


• Resident-centered care practices


• Team coaching, accountability, and workforce development
