Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Lisbon is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the Nursing Department and drive the clinical team toward excellence in resident care. You will uphold the facility's standards, foster a positive culture, and align departmental goals with the center’s mission.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Nursing or related field, an Iowa RN license, and at least 5 years of RN experience with prior department management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Nursing or related field.
• Unencumbered State of Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• 5 years of RN experience.
• Previous experience managing a department; Director of Nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Nursing Department and set department goals.
• Inspire and lead the clinical team to deliver high-quality care.
• Ensure residents receive an unparalleled standard of care with a positive facility culture.
• Provide creative problem solving and maintain regulatory and quality standards.

As a Director of Nursing you are the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Rehabilitation Center of Lisbon by instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, setting and attaining Nursing Department goals, inspiring your clinical team, creative problem solving and overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered State of Iowa Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, 5 years of R.N. experience, and previous experience managing a department. Prior Director of Nursing or experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
