Job summary

Estoria Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Missouri is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) / RN to oversee nursing services and ensure high-quality resident care. The DON will provide 24-hour supervision and lead the Nursing Department, coordinating with physicians and administration to maintain quality standards according to orders and resident needs.

The role requires an RN license in the practicing state, along with LTC/SNF/AL/MC experience and supervisory leadership.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the state where you practice.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
• Two years of nurse supervisory experience required.
• Prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Nursing Services for residents in accordance with physicians' orders and resident needs.
• Provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
• In the absence of the Administrator, assume responsibility for center operations.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Director of Nursing | DON | RN, you will be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and the total needs of the residents. You will also be responsible for 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume responsibility for center operations.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
• Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role required
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
