NOW HIRING: Director of Nursing (DON)

Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures to enhance resident care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and maintain individualized care plans
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure quality and safety in patient care
• Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff, fostering professional development and a positive workplace culture
• Monitor nursing staff performance and provide ongoing feedback and support
• Ensure effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare providers

Director of Nursing (DON) Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred; Master’s degree is a plus
• Nursing experience in a management or leadership role in a long-term care setting
• Strong knowledge of nursing home regulations and quality assurance practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
