Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in the United States is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) for a skilled nursing facility. Lead, develop and direct the Nursing Service Department to ensure quality care and compliance with federal/state standards.

Collaborate with Administrator and Medical Director, mentor staff through DON mentorship programs, and drive resident-centered care in a home-like environment. Full-time, on-site role with strong regional support and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a nursing setting, preferably long-term care.
• Proficient with computer systems and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Organize, develop, manage, and direct the Nursing Service Department.
• Collaborate with Administrator and Medical Director to ensure quality of care.
• Adhere to federal/state/local standards and infection control policies.

Position Summary:

As the Director of Nursing in a SNF setting it is your responsibility to organize, develop, manage, and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the community. The Director of Nursing is to work directly with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualification:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work.
• Must possess a current CPR or BLS certification.
• Must have a minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a nursing community or other related healthcare community, preferably in long term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.
