Job summary

Avir Health Group in Texas is seeking a qualified Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the facility's clinical operations and build a high-performing nursing team.

The DON is responsible for overall clinical management, regulatory compliance, and fostering a patient- and family-centered culture. Texas RN license and CPR certification required; prior supervisory experience in healthcare settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas RN License.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.
• Knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical management of the facility and lead nursing operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety across all shifts.
• Foster a patient- and family-centered culture and mentor nursing staff.

Qualifications for Director of Nursing (DON):
