Aurora Nursing and Rehab Center, a 35 bed skilled healthcare provider located in Scottdale, PA is seeking a talented and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team. As our Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for leading our nursing team and overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Your exceptional leadership skills and passion for nursing will be key to our continued success in providing exceptional care to our patients and residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to our nursing team, ensuring that all nursing services are delivered with excellence and compassion
• Oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
• Foster a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and ongoing education and training for our nursing staff

Requirements:

• Experience in a management or leadership role in a healthcare setting
• A degree in Nursing or a related field, with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of PA
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in staff development and training
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and staff
