Job summary

Marquis Health Consulting Services seeks a Director of Nursing for a Skilled Nursing & Rehab facility in the Lynn, MA area. Day shifts with rotating on-call, leading nursing leadership and ensuring high-quality, person-centered care.

The role requires MA RN licensure, 3+ years in nursing leadership, and at least 2 years in rehab/restorative nursing. Competitive benefits and strong collaboration with administration are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in MA with current, active license.
• Minimum 3 years as a manager/director of nursing in a care center or hospital.
• Minimum 2 years in rehabilitative/restorative nursing practices.
• COVID vaccination series completed.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement staffing plan for the nursing department.
• Performs rounds to monitor and evaluate quality of care.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff and medical team.
• Partner with Administrator to ensure quality, person-centered care.
• Develop, manage, and evaluate department policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the written staffing plan that reflects the needs of the nursing department
• Performs rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff, and medical team
• Work in partnership with the Administrator to ensure quality, person-centered care
• Develop, manage, and evaluate department policies and procedures by current rules and regulations

Requirements:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in MA
• Provide oversight and direction to clinical team
• Make rounds with physicians, as necessary
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff and medical team
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Three (3) years or more years of experience as a manager/Director of Nursing in a nursing care center, hospital or other related health care center
• Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
• Primary series of COVID vaccination is required

Range: 120k-$200k / per year
