Signature HealthCARE in McCreary County, KY seeks a Director of Nursing to oversee the Nursing Department, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and uphold resident-centered care across long-term and rehabilitative services. The ideal candidate brings detail orientation, strong organizational skills, and a passion for staff development.

You will lead interdisciplinary teams, approve care plans, and supervise admissions, transfers, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in good standing with current state license.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in long-term care and/or acute care setting.
• Minimum of two (2) years management/supervisory experience.
• Current/active CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Oversee Nursing Department operations in line with company policies and regulatory guidelines to ensure excellent resident care.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the nursing services and programs per governing rules for the long-term care facility.
• Assist with Interdisciplinary Plan of Care development and coordination with physicians, nursing staff, and consultants.
• Ensure accurate completion of admission, transfer, and discharge forms and reports (e.g., PAE, Initial Nursing Assessment, MDS, Care Plan).

Overview

The ideal Director of Nursing Candidate is very detailed orientated, organized, great knowledge of policies and governmental regulations. A passion for supporting and training Stakeholders to provide the best care possible to residents.

How you Will make a difference

• Manage the overall operations of the Nursing Department in accordance with Company policies, standards of nursing practices and governmental regulations so as to maintain excellent care of all residents’ needs.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the nursing services department, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Assist with development of and approve final version of the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care for each resident in coordination with the physician, Medical Director, nursing staff, and outside consultants (i.e., nursing, dietary, pharmacy, therapists, etc.) and in accordance with corporate, state and federal guidelines.
• Confirm accurate completion of forms/reports for the admission, transfer and/or discharge of each resident including, but not limited to, the nursing portion of the PAE, Initial Nursing Assessment, Minimum Data Set (MDS), Resident Care Plan, and the Annual MDS.

What you Need to make a Difference

• Registered Nurse in good standing with required current state license.
