Position Summary

As the Director of Nursing, it is your responsibility to organize, develop, manage, and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the community. The Director of Nursing works directly with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest quality of care for each resident. Follows all health, sanitary, and infection control policies and maintains standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education & Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN within the state of employment.
• Must possess a current CPR certification.
• Possession of a certification in infection control prevention is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must demonstrate the ability to carry out both verbal and written directions.
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, and community leadership.
• Ability to observe proper safety and sanitary techniques.
• Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the position's requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.

Experience

• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing community, or related healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care.

Shift & Wage

• Full-Time Opportunity
• Shift Needed: Monday - Friday, on call
• Wage: $110K-$117K
