The Waters of Bristol is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to organize and oversee all nursing operations of the facility in Blountville, TN. You will lead a collaborative and efficient nursing team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and policies under the Administrator’s supervision.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in good standing in the state where the facility resides.
• At least 1 year of nursing service administration experience is required; geriatric care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant state, federal, and local long-term care regulations.

We are looking for an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to organize and oversee all nursing operations of the facility. You will create a collaborative and efficient workplace with attention to quality standards and policies. Under the supervision of the Administrator, the Director of Nursing has the authority, responsibility, and accountability for the functions, activities, and training of the nursing services staff, in addition to the supervision of the Therapy Department and its’ functions within the facility.Being efficient, dedicated, a good listener and a problem-solver is what will open our door for you. Education/Experience:

• Maintains a current, valid Nursing License as a registered professional nurse, in good standing in the state the facility resides in.

• Possesses a minimum one (1) year of experience in nursing service administration. Additional education or experience in such areas as rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred

• Possesses strong knowledge of state, federal and local regulations as they pertain to long term care
