Job summary

AVIR Health Group in Austin, Texas, seeks a qualified Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team and drive high-quality patient care. The DON is responsible for overall clinical management of the facility and for building a high-performing, patient‑centered culture.

The successful candidate will hold a Texas RN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of supervisory experience in hospital or skilled nursing settings.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare program.
• Knowledge of long‑term care standards per Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.

Qualifications for Director of Nursing (DON):

• Valid Texas RN License.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.
• Must possess knowledge of long‑term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.
