The Director provides inter-professional leadership for quality care and services for defined areas of patient care services and hospital services to achieve strategic and operational goals. The Director utilizes the concepts and standards outlined by the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice for Nursing Administration and maintains competency in the domains as described by the American Organization of Nurse Executives, which include assessing, evaluating, and maintaining current professional practice, knowledge, and environment through leadership, collaboration, and effective communication, utilizing a framework of shared governance while assuring and maintaining adequate human and fiscal resources to provide safe, quality care in a patient/family-centered care environment. The Director employs participative management to plan, innovate, coordinate, direct, and evaluate patient services and programs to ensure that services align with the philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Division of Nursing.
Estimated salary range for this position is $124,284.36 - $165,298.20 per year, depending on experience.
