Job summary

The Gardens Care Homes is seeking a skilled director of nursing to lead nursing services across our facilities in Kentucky. You will ensure high‑quality care, regulatory compliance, and exceptional clinical operations while coordinating resident care plans and emergency response.

Responsibilities include hiring and coaching staff, managing medication administration and charting, coordinating medical appointments, and maintaining confidentiality of records.

Qualifications

• Two years in assisted living/memory care preferred.
• One year EMAR experience preferred.
• Medications management and charting knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, evaluate, and coach healthcare personnel; supervise medication room, caregivers, and medication assistants.
• Plan, implement, schedule nursing services; provide interventions for emergencies and problems.
• Maintain medical charting and documentation; monitor residents and notify providers as appropriate.
• Administer/coordinate medications; manage orders and refills; coordinate care plans and appointments.
