Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Kentucky seeks a Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations and ensure high-quality, person-centered care for residents. Responsible for oversight of nurses, CNAs, and medication staff, with focus on regulatory readiness and continuous professional development.

The role partners with families and interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans, drive quality assurance, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Current active state nursing license (RN or LPN).
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience.
• Experience in senior care or healthcare preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality care and resident assessments.
• Develop nursing policies and procedures.
• Manage nursing staff and coordinate care.
• Ensure regulatory readiness and survey interactions.
• Monitor medications and pharmacy relations.
• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff.
• Engage with residents and families on service plans.
