Job Description

We are seeking a Director of Nursing for an Assisted Living Community that specializes in memory care, with a track record of leadership in this field for the past 20 years.

Qualifications

Education:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Must be currently RN licensed in Texas.

Experience:

• At least one year of experience in long-term care.
• Experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s disease and/or related dementia.

Supervisory Experience:

• Minimum of one year supervising staff, including setting performance expectations, coaching, motivating, fostering collaboration and teamwork, promoting company culture, managing change, providing performance feedback, delegating effectively, and resolving conflicts.
