Domus Search is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing for a growing Home Health operation in Orlando, FL. The DON will provide clinical leadership across the agency, oversee the clinical team and ensure high standards of patient care and compliance.

I am working on behalf of a growing Home Health organisation in Orlando, Florida, who are looking to appoint an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead their clinical team.

The Role:

• Provide clinical leadership and direction across the Home Health operation
• Oversee and support the clinical team, ensuring high standards of patient care and clinical compliance
• Lead, develop and supervise clinicians, fostering a positive and supportive working environment
• Conduct field visits to supervise clinical staff and assess the quality of care being delivered
• Provide hands‑on clinical support when required, including responding to urgent patient care needs
• Oversee OASIS assessments and ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Monitor quality assurance processes and drive continuous improvement across the clinical operation
• Ensure timely admissions and effective management of incoming referrals
• Work closely with the Branch Director to ensure appropriate clinical staffing and capacity to meet referral demand
• Support the development of clinical processes as the agency continues to establish itself in the local market
• Maintain strong clinical standards while helping build the agency's reputation within the community
• Oversee an aspect of the Private Duty division alongside the wider Home Health responsibilities
• Work Monday to Friday during normal business hours, with occasional calls outside standard working hours
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licence
• Proven leadership experience within a Medicare‑certified Home Health agency
• Previous experience as a Clinical Manager, Director of Nursing or in a comparable senior clinical leadership position
• Strong OASIS knowledge and experience
• Solid understanding of Medicare Home Health requirements and clinical processes
• Experience supervising, supporting and developing field‑based clinicians
• Strong knowledge of clinical documentation, quality assurance and admission processes
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of patient care
• Confident communicator who can build relationships across clinical and operational teams
• Outgoing, approachable personality with a positive leadership style
• Ability to motivate staff, encourage accountability and contribute to a strong company culture
• Comfortable working in the field and providing clinical support when requiredA forward‑thinking approach, with the ability to help develop a growing agency
• Salary of $100,000 – $110,000, dependent on experience
