Location: Pierce County’s first Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic in downtown Tacoma.

Comprehensive Life Resources is seeking a qualified Nursing Director to join our team.

Function

The Nursing Director will oversee all nursing (RN and LPN) and medical assistant staff across all programs, including outpatient clinics, residential treatment facilities, and outreach services. Responsibilities include policy development and oversight related to infection control, CLIA certification, compliance with JCMS, JCAHO, NCQA, WAC, and clinical program development, in collaboration with CLR's Chief Medical Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and administrative oversight of RNs, LPNs, MAs, and medical technicians, including staff onboarding, clinical care standards, productivity, and performance evaluations, in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer.
  • Ensure compliance with Washington State Administrative Codes related to nursing care, medication, and CLIA certification.
  • Ensure clinical programs meet CMS and NCQA standards.
  • Comply with DEA regulations concerning buprenorphine administration.
  • Maintain infection control standards across clinical sites.
  • Draft clinical care protocols collaboratively.
  • Participate in quality improvement and corrective actions.
  • Determine staffing needs and participate in recruitment.
  • Attend weekly directors’ meetings.
  • Provide direct clinical care as an RN when needed.
