Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Now Hiring: Director of Nursing - Assisted Living & Memory Care

Location: Michigan

Are you a compassionate and experienced nursing leader ready to make a meaningful impact in senior care? We're seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee clinical operations in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Michigan.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a caring and committed team while ensuring the highest standards of resident care in a warm, supportive environment.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day nursing operations for both assisted living and memory care residents
  • Supervise and mentor clinical staff (nurses, caregivers, CNAs)
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, and outside providers
  • Ensure compliance with Michigan state regulations, licensing requirements, and company standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and manage EMR systems
  • Monitor resident well-being and respond to health status changes
  • Lead staff training, evaluations, and performance improvement plans
  • Support families and participate in care planning meetings
  • Provide on-call support and leadership during emergencies
  • Foster a compassionate, respectful, and team-focused culture

What We're Looking For

  • Active RN license in the state of Michigan (required)
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in assisted living, memory care, or a related senior care setting
  • Deep understanding of dementia care best practices
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of relevant federal and Michigan state regulations
  • Passion for senior care and a resident-centered approach
