Job summary

Longterm Health Management Services is seeking a Director of Nursing for a skilled nursing facility. You will lead the Clinical Department, ensuring residents receive an unparalleled standard of care and fostering a positive, inclusive facility culture.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered RN license, and at least 5 years of RN experience with departmental leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Nursing or related field is required.
• Unencumbered RN license is required.
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience managing a department is required; prior Director of Nursing in skilled nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Clinical Department to ensure residents receive a high standard of care.
• Set and attain Nursing Department goals and inspire the clinical team.
• Oversee all aspects of the Clinical Department and problem-solve to maintain quality care.

As a Director of Nursing you are the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expectby instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, setting and attaining Nursing Department goals, inspiring your clinical team, creative problem solving and overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, 5 years of R.N. experience, and previous experience managing a department. Prior Director of Nursing or experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
