Athens Health and Rehab in Athens, PA is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Director of Nursing (DON/RN) to lead the nursing department at our 90-bed skilled nursing facility.

The DON will plan and direct nursing services, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor the nursing team, perform rounds, and collaborate with physicians to promote high-quality resident care. This leadership role requires strong communication and a commitment to safety and compassionate geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Previous supervisory or nursing leadership experience in a long-term care setting required.
• Experience working with the geriatric population in a long-term care environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
