Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters in Mobile, AL seeks a nursing administrator to plan, organize, and supervise daily nursing services for the Sisters. The role reviews policies, oversees budgeting, staffing, and training while ensuring medication management and regulatory compliance.
The candidate should have healthcare administration experience, geriatric care knowledge, and leadership capabilities to coordinate across convent departments and healthcare providers.
Plan, organize and supervise all daily nursing services and care.
Review, maintain and implement nursing policy and procedures.
Evaluate, prepare and submit annual Nursing Department budget.
Daily rounds to evaluate Sisters patient needs.
Review daily 24-hour nursing report ensuring timely and effective responses to changes in Sisters conditions, injuries, behavioral issues and medication management.
Conduct Nursing staff orientation and annual reviews
Monitor medication administration and treatment schedule.
Participate in hiring of all nursing personnel
Ensure proper staff licensing, training and support.
Compliance with applicable healthcare regulation, safety requirements and infection control procedures.
Oversee and implement all staff scheduling and shift rotations.
Maintain regular communication with Province Leader, Local Leader serving as the primary coordinator of communication among healthcare providers, staff and Sisters.
Facility, services and supplies review and recommendations.
Active Illinois license RN (preferred), LPN (considered)
Healthcare Administration degree and/or experience
Geriatric care experience
Knowledge of current Federal, State and Local laws/regulations.
Strong leadership, communication and supervisory skills.
Ability to assist staff lifting, transferring, , pushing or pulling in excess of 50lbs.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work and communicate with all Convent departments planning and ensuring adequate care for the Sisters.
