Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) for a skilled nursing facility. Lead the Nursing Service Department, ensuring high quality resident care and regulatory compliance. Partner with the Administrator and Medical Director to maintain standards and drive excellence in patient outcomes.

The DON will oversee staff, implement policies, and promote a home-like, resident-centered environment while coordinating with regional leadership and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license for the state of work.
• Must hold a CPR or BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role in a nursing/healthcare setting, preferably long-term care.

Position Summary

As the Director of Nursing in a SNF setting it is your responsibility to organize, develop, manage, and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the community. The Director of Nursing is to work directly with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualification

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work.
• Must possess a current CPR or BLS certification.
• Must have a minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a nursing community or other related healthcare community, preferably in long term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.
