Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Provide strategic leadership for resident care, coordinating services to enhance quality of life.
  • Manage the nursing team and oversee clinical care, assessments, and care plans.
  • Exercise administrative authority over the Care Center operations.
  • Oversee medication management to ensure resident safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate resident care.
  • Maintain the Infection Control Program and stay updated on infection prevention.
  • Provide clinical training and evaluate staff capabilities.
  • Monitor clinical quality data, lead improvement initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage the nursing budget and respond to clinical events.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Current Georgia RN license.
  • Adult CPR certification.
  • At least 2 years of RN experience, with a preference for long-term care.
  • Minimum 1 year in nursing management, including hiring, coaching, and scheduling.
  • DON or ADON experience in geriatric nursing is preferred.
  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations.
