Job summary

Samaritan Health Services seeks an experienced executive to direct ambulatory nursing operations and the clinical practice across our primary, specialty, and urgent care clinics. This role partners with AVP- Operations and Senior Medical Directors to ensure high-quality, compliant care and efficient operations.

Ideal candidates hold an MSN, bring 5+ years of healthcare management experience, and have experience in care coordination or population health.

Qualifications

• MSN is required.
• Minimum 5 years management experience in a healthcare or health plan setting.
• At least 3 years clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in care coordination, care management, population health, or disease management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs ambulatory nursing operations and clinical practice in ambulatory primary, specialty, and urgent care clinics.
• Oversees regulatory and safety activities.
• Leads improvement strategies using trends, needs, forecasts and established measures for quality care.

Job description

• Directs the management of ambulatory nursing operations and the clinical practice of the ambulatory primary, specialty, and urgent care clinics in partnership with AVP- Operations and Senior Medical Directors. Oversees regulatory and safety activities. Develops improvement strategies by identifying and evaluating trends, needs, forecasts and established measurements to provider quality care. Designs programs and procedures, resolves issues, and implements change. Provides programmatic leadership and direction for the continuum-based operating model for care management and care coordination services for SMG.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

• Master of Science in Nursing degree required.
• Five (5) years management experience in a healthcare or health plan setting required.
• Three (3) years clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in care coordination, care management, care transitions, population health, or disease management preferred.
