BrightStar Care of Baraboo is seeking a Director of Nursing to provide clinical leadership, oversee quality and compliance, and support caregiver development. You will help ensure clients receive compassionate, person-centered home care while partnering with the leadership team to drive growth and excellence.

The role emphasizes collaboration, training, and ongoing clinical improvement to deliver outstanding client experiences across our Baraboo service area.

Formación

• Current unrestricted Wisconsin RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct client assessments, reassessments, supervisory visits, and care oversight.
• Develop and oversee individualized plans of care.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to caregivers and nursing staff.
• Lead orientation, training, competency validation, and ongoing education programs.
• Monitor quality, compliance, and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, clients, families, and community partners.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and accreditation standards.
• Participate in incident reviews and performance improvement activities.
• Assist with business growth through relationship building and community outreach.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support clients and staff.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency with computers and electronic documentation systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Home care, home health, hospice, or community-based healthcare experience
• Clinical leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience with quality assurance, staff development, or accreditation standards
• Joint Commission experience
