We are looking for a Director of Business Development to join our team! An extremely important role for our success. The Director of Business Development will spearhead our sales and partnership efforts, driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence in automotive sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership, market analysis, and partnership development within the SaaS industry. Our key target customers are CMOs/Marketing Managers, Consumer and Market Insights leads and Head of Innovation at Fortune 500 companies.

Responsibilities

  • Actively seek out and identify potential clients and business prospects
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts with enterprise clients
  • Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with clients and customers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics
  • Provide insightful feedback to the product development team based on customer needs and market demand
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in selling solutions to CMOs/Marketing Managers and Consumer and Market Insights leads at Fortune 500 companies
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales within the B2B SaaS space.
  • Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills
  • Client Relationship Management – experience of nurturing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Deep understanding of sales processes and techniques
  • Experience in lead generation and prospecting
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
  • Strong Time Management and Organizational Skills
