Job summary

C12 is seeking a Head of Nanofabrication in Paris to own the strategy, development and execution of nanofabrication activities from current wafer production to next-generation processes. You will define roadmaps, drive yield, and build a robust team in a fast-paced setting.

You will lead a growing group of engineers and technicians, collaborate with CTO and partners, and influence equipment strategy while advancing the quantum technologies roadmap.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in nanofabrication and advanced cleanroom processes.
• Proven track record of leading technical teams in complex R&D or prototyping environments.
• Ability to set direction, make trade-offs, and rely on domain experts.
• Experience building robust production processes and process learning structures.
• Data-driven mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience in an RTO or prototyping cleanroom valued; quantum tech experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive nanofabrication strategy balancing development, maturation and production.
• Drive yield improvement and development of next-generation processes.
• Build scalable nanofabrication organization with strong process control.
• Lead team through technical challenges and deviations with structured resolution.
• Recruit, develop and empower nanofabrication engineers and technicians.
• Contribute to equipment strategy and tool procurement with Operations.
• Collaborate with CTO, Operations, Chip Design and production teams to align priorities.
• Provide technical expertise for collaborations with foundries and partners.
