Job summary

Genetics Associates, LLC in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking an experienced, board-certified Director of Molecular Pathology to lead our laboratory team and advance the field of molecular pathology.

The ideal candidate holds an MD/PhD or equivalent, fellowship in molecular pathology preferred, and has expertise in oncology molecular markers and virology for molecular methods. A strong commitment to patient care and collaboration is essential.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified Pathologist, physician in a specialty other than pathology, or a doctoral scientist with specialized training and/or relevant experience in molecular pathology.
• Experience in oncology molecular and cellular tumor markers, as well as virology for molecular methods, is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of laboratory training or experience in high-complexity testing.
• Clinical research experience and publication of work are preferred.
• Expert knowledge of clinical testing processes and procedures.
• Laboratory or manufacturing facility experience is a plus.
