Job summary

GrayWolf Modular seeks a Director of Operations to lead manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and project execution for modular data center projects in a climate-controlled office with frequent site visits.

The role requires 20+ years in operations management, strong leadership, and expertise in supply chain management. Travel to project sites and vendor locations will be needed as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in operations management, preferably modular construction or data centers.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale modular projects and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and project execution.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
• Oversee project management teams to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement processes, and supply chain logistics.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and sales to align operations with client needs.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure operational success and drive improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Support business development by providing operational insights and cost-effective solutions.
