The West Essex YMCA in Livingston, NJ is seeking a Membership Director to lead membership development, sales, retention, engagement, and service across the branch network. You will collaborate with branch leadership and program directors to ensure timely membership launches and accurate data management.

You will leverage SGA Pulse and dashboards to monitor trends, drive improvements, and uphold YMCA values, ensuring an exceptional member experience and measurable growth.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience guiding teams in membership operations.
• Strong customer service, sales, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with data analytics, dashboards, and Listen360/NPS metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; CPR/AED and First Aid.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership for membership sales, retention, engagement, and member services initiatives.
• Collaborate with branch leadership and cross-functional teams to align membership strategies with branch goals.
• Partner with Program Directors for accurate membership launches, program integration, and communication.
• Oversee member data accuracy, audits, and integrity across systems and dashboards.
• Monitor membership financial activity and ensure timely reconciliation and reporting.
• Drive strategies to increase membership sales, retention, engagement and value.
• Represent membership in association committees and strategic initiatives.
