Job summary

Genentech Oceanside is seeking a senior leader to oversee warehousing, materials management, and site operations, driving lean processes and cGMP compliance across the site and network.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement and Strategic Supply Planning to ensure OTIF delivery, inventory accuracy, and safe operations while mentoring onsite and remote teams.

This on-site role includes relocation support and a competitive California salary with discretionary bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in biotech/pharma environments with materials handling.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Deep knowledge of cGMP concepts and Hazmat safety.
• Experience with SAP in validated environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end warehousing and site operations including receipt, storage, transport, and shipping.
• Manage external partnerships with 3PLs, landlords and outsourced manufacturing partners to ensure GMP-compliant delivery.
• Monitor KPIs, inventory accuracy, and health metrics in partnership with Planning teams.
• Act as network hub and escalation point for material issues across the site and beyond.
