Job summary

Mercy Culture Church is seeking an Events Director to lead strategy, planning, and execution of Master Events, conferences, and ministry initiatives. You will partner with the Experience Director to translate vision into scalable systems and cross‑functional collaboration.

This full‑time, onsite role requires strong leadership, budgeting, vendor management, and the ability to deliver events on time and within scope, with a focus on guest experience and excellence.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in event management, operations, or project management.
• Proven experience leading large-scale events or conferences.
• Strong leadership and team management, with budget/vendor oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, planning, and execution of Master Events and conferences.
• Define vision, scope, and objectives with stakeholders.
• Oversee Events Department, including hiring and development.
• Establish timelines, workflows, and operational systems.
• Oversee event logistics: venues, vendors, production needs.
• Ensure cross-department alignment and communication.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions.
• Oversee budgeting, expense tracking, and cost management.
• Lead Rally Week planning and campus readiness.
• Direct post-event evaluations and continuous improvement.
• Ensure events meet standards for guest experience.
