Humanities Washington, a Seattle-based nonprofit, seeks a Director of Marketing & Advancement to shape HW’s story and grow its resources. You’ll lead branding, communications, video and podcasts, and oversee earned revenue, reporting to the CEO on a four‑person leadership team.

You’ll supervise the Fundraising Manager, hire the Business Development & Partnerships Manager, and partner with program staff to align messaging with strategy, expand audiences, and strengthen support for the humanities

Qualifications

• Proven track record in integrated marketing, brand strategy, and storytelling.
• Experience growing audiences and leveraging digital media.
• Ability to translate mission into compelling fundraising and revenue strategies.

Responsabilités

• Define HW’s brand, messaging, and marketing strategy with clear metrics.
• Reach new audiences and design video, podcast, and social content.
• Develop an integrated revenue plan and support the CEO and Fundraising Manager.
• Launch a new earned revenue line and guide hiring for the Partnerships Manager.
• Lead and grow the marketing and revenue team, aligning program data and stories.
