Science is a clinical stage, vertically integrated technology company focused on solving some of neuroscience’s hardest questions and most serious unmet medical needs. We work to restore quality of life to those with debilitating conditions for which there are no treatment options, creating devices aimed at restoring vision, cognition, and mobility to patients who have lost it. To support progress across our industry, we provide state-of-the-art components and vertically integrated infrastructure for others to build on via Science Foundry.
This is an exciting time to join. PRIMA, our wireless subretinal implant for geographic atrophy secondary to age-related macular degeneration (AMD), was evaluated in the PRIMAvera pivotal study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine. Geographic atrophy is a leading cause of irreversible vision loss, and this role offers a rare opportunity to build the US marketing strategy for a genuinely new technology from the ground up. PRIMA is CE marked in the European Union and registered for supply in the United Kingdom and we are preparing for the US regulatory approval.
