About the Director of Market Research Position:

The Director of Market Research will analyze economic, demographic, and real estate data to provide critical insights for Urban Pace’s developer and investor clients. Using this data, the Director will create custom reports, market assessments, and pricing models to support strategic decisions on future residential developments.

The Director will oversee a small, dynamic team, manage the creation of monthly market reports, track key trends, and provide visualizations using Tableau and other software. The role includes managing the corporate database, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining dashboards to track market trends and key performance metrics. Additionally, the Director will collaborate with the research team at our West Coast partner, Polaris Pacific, on special projects and market studies.

Requirements:

• Degree: Bachelor’s in marketing, economics, data science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or real estate research.
• Experience managing a small team (1-2 Analysts).
• Strong knowledge of the local D.C. real estate market.
• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Salary and Benefits:

• Full Time, Salaried Position
• $80,000 - $90,000 base with performance-based bonus. Actual wage will be based upon education and experience.
