We're looking for an experienced aviation maintenance professional who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. We’re looking for leaders who innovate and love solving hard problems! You will work hard, have fun, and of course, make history!

As Prime Air's Director of Maintenance, you understand the functionality, business drivers, regulations, and technologies behind the continued airworthiness/operational maintenance program. 2. You work across the company to lead the design, implement, and harmonize operational maintenance programs.
  3. You are able to create new programs from scratch, weighing complex inputs that include safety, technical, legal, regulatory, and cost considerations.
  4. You ensure the effective operation of the maintenance program to ensure safety across multiple locations.
  5. You implement new mechanisms to accelerate process improvements that result in step-changes in safety, scale, and efficiency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Must possess background and experience that meets eligibility requirements for Part 135 Director of Maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations (14 CFR § 119.69)
  2. Must be thoroughly familiar with maintenance regulatory guidelines as defined in 14 CFR Part 43
  3. FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
  4. 8+ years managing maintenance operations
  5. Proficient in common business applications and tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, SQL)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Familiar with hardware and software configuration management techniques
  2. Experience with foreign maintenance airworthiness guidelines (e.g. EASA continued airworthiness annex)
  3. Demonstrated understanding of project management methodologies
  4. Experience with advanced business applications and software development tools (e.g. Enovia, Python, R)
  5. Exceptional attention to detail and exemplary organizational skills
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
