Job summary

Rail Modal Group is seeking a Director of Logistics in New York to lead the end-to-end execution of the company's logistics network. This role involves overseeing logistics and NVOCC teams, ensuring seamless movement of freight across all channels.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in logistics leadership, particularly in rail and ocean freight coordination. You will partner with commercial and operations leaders to ensure customer commitments are met efficiently while driving continuous improvement across all operations.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of direct leadership experience in logistics, intermodal, or supply chain operations.
• Strong experience with rail, drayage, and/or ocean freight coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive accountability in an operational setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end execution of all logistics and NVOCC operations.
• Translate commercial demand into executable logistics and export plans.
• Manage relationships with railroads, ocean carriers, and drayage providers.
