Job summary

Enthusiast Auto Holdings is seeking a Director of Logistics & Freight to lead enterprise freight strategy, financial performance, systems, and execution across ten automotive brands. You will own end-to-end freight, parcel, and international logistics, partnering with leadership to standardize processes and drive efficiency across a high-volume DTC distribution network.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive transportation, logistics, or supply-chain experience with significant leadership responsibility.
Deep experience managing high-volume parcel transportation in a DTC, e-commerce, retail, distribution, fulfilment, or 3PL environment.
Proven success leading parcel RFPs, national carrier negotiations, rate analysis, contract implementation, and carrier-performance management.
Detailed understanding of parcel pricing, dimensional weight, zones, accessorials, fuel programs, minimum charges, peak surcharges, and service-level economics.
Experience managing inbound domestic transportation and international freight from Europe, Asia, or other sourcing regions.
Experience designing and standardizing logistics processes across multiple distribution or fulfillment locations.
Experience enabling multi-site fulfillment, including inventory visibility, order routing, distributed fulfillment, standardized carrier selection, and consistent shipment execution.
Experience implementing or optimizing TMS, ERP, WMS, parcel-shipping, rate-shopping, freight-audit, or transportation-visibility platforms.
Strong financial modeling, analytical, data-visualization, and executive-presentation skills.
Working knowledge of HTS classification, customs compliance, import requirements, and hazardous-material transportation.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across a multi-site, multi-brand, or matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute an enterprise freight and parcel strategy across all brands and fulfillment locations.
Own the freight and parcel budget, forecast, savings pipeline, and performance against financial targets.
Monitor and improve visibility into outbound cost analytics.
Identify and implement sustainable cost-reduction opportunities balancing delivery speed, capacity, reliability, and customer experience.
Develop business cases and implementation plans for new carriers, technologies, consolidation programs, and service changes.
Prepare and present recommendations and performance updates to the Executive Leadership Team weekly.
Lead parcel strategy, procurement, negotiations, contract governance, and carrier performance.
Lead parcel RFPs, contract negotiations, renewals, benchmarking, and implementation.
Analyze base rates, dimensional weight, zones, surcharges, and service guarantees.
Model carrier proposals using shipment characteristics and projected volumes.
Develop routing, carrier-allocation, and service-selection strategies to optimize cost and speed.
Establish carrier scorecards and lead regular business reviews on cost and service.
Oversee parcel invoicing, billing disputes, and claims recovery.
Lead peak-season forecasting and contingency planning.
Develop inbound and international freight strategies across suppliers and locations.
Standardize logistics systems, processes, and performance metrics for multi-site fulfillment.
Lead integration of acquired businesses into the network and ERP modernization efforts.
Ensure compliance with HTS, customs, and hazardous-material transportation requirements.
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve tracking, delivery visibility, and customer experience.
