Job summary

Brady Corp is seeking a Director of Logistics to lead PSS freight and distribution end-to-end, partnering across Manufacturing, Sourcing, IT and Finance. The role oversees regional logistics personnel and 3PL teams to optimize inbound/outbound performance and cost, with a strong focus on KPI-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• 10 years of relevant and progressive logistics and integrated supply chain experience with manufacturing organizations of similar size and complexity.
• Must have over 10 years of experience in leading teams.
• Experience in collaborating in highly matrixed organizations.
• Solid and quantifiable understanding of Transportation and Logistics economic and financial drivers.
• Excellent analytic and data skills in developing actionable KPIs and metrics around service and cost.
• Passion for customer service and operational excellence.
• Lean qualification is an advantage.
• International Travel will be required for about 30% Must have valid and updated Passport.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Freight and Distribution (end to end) requirements for the PSS business.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Sourcing, IT, SIOP, Finance and Sales to manage distribution and transport strategy to meet needs of manufacturing and customers.
• Ensure adherence to trade compliance standards.
• Provide input for the annual STRAP and AOP for Logistics.
• Report on Key metrics (AOP, Performance, Analysis) for monthly logistics reporting.
• Optimize annual freight and distribution spend.
• Lead Logistics teams for transitions, ERP/SAP deployments, and Productivity Projects like TMS and freight payment programs.
• Initiate and drive productivity projects and track results.
• Ensure site metrics are reported and productivity actions sustained through governance reviews.
• Act as Key logistics escalation contact with carriers and 3PLs to ensure SOW compliance.
• Maintain productivity and best practice standards.
• Understand TMS, SAP ERP and related tech to drive improvements across regions.
