Job summary

Lincoln Memorial University invites applications for the role of Director of LMU Clinical DVM Program Operations and Assistant Professor. This position combines program operations leadership with scholarly teaching and service within the CVM Clinical Relations and Outreach area.

The role is remote with occasional travel to LMU DVM instructional sites, and requires collaboration with the Executive Associate Dean and other faculty and staff to shape the program and educate future veterinarians.

• Manage the LMU DVM Clinical Course Mentor Program.
• Manage the LMU DVM Clinical Site Training Program.
• Manage the LMU DVM Clinical Year Student Success Program.
• Manage the LMU DVM Professional Quality Assurance Program.
• Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, and the community at large.
• Work closely and collaboratively with the Executive Associate Dean of Clinical Relations and Outreach.
• Collaborate with students, staff, peer faculty, other colleges on campus, and external partners to attain goals.
• Engage in service to the college, develop and deliver instructional materials, and perform research.
• Provide oversight for implementation of initiatives and strengthening the college mission.
• Assure student learning outcomes are achieved and measurable using qualitative and quantitative metrics.
• Participate in regularly scheduled meetings of Clinical Relations and Outreach team.
• Prepare required reports.
• Represent the college at AAVMC, AVMA, State VMA, and other professional programs and events.

Job Description

The Director of LMU Clinical DVM Program Operations, in collaboration
with the Executive Associate Dean of Clinical Relations and Outreach,
and other Clinical Relations and Outreach faculty and staff, provides
operational and executional expertise to the LMU Clinical DVM Program.
The position will have input on shaping the LMU Clinical DVM program
and educating future veterinarians. The position will be remote and
will require occasional travel to LMU DVM instructional sites.

MBA or board certification; at least 10 years in clinical
practice or academia

Participate in regularly scheduled meetings of personnel assigned to the Clinical Relations and Outreach team

Prepare required reports

Assure that the college is represented at appropriate AAVMC , AVMA , State VMA , and other professional programs, initiatives, and events as designated

Effectively deliver presentations to students, clinical affiliates, and other parties

Travel periodically as needed.

Participate in other strategic initiatives as assigned
