Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a senior leader to advance liquidity forecasting and funding strategies within Treasury. The ideal candidate will align liquidity and collateral planning with the broader balance sheet strategy, coordinating across funding, capital planning, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include shaping the funding framework across multiple entities and communicating complex liquidity solutions to executives and regulators.

Qualifications

• Requires 12+ years in financial services with 8+ years in liquidity strategy and forecasting.
• Deep experience across trading, funding/repo desks, liquidity risk and balance sheet modeling.
• Experience building and leading a technical liquidity and funding team.
• Strong investment strategy knowledge for diverse capital portfolios and broker dealer liquidity.
• Understanding of 15c3-3 calculations and their impact on liquidity management.

Responsabilités

• Develop a comprehensive funding plan across entities, collateral management and optimization.
• Lead communication of funding across Brokered CDs, Bilateral Repo, Tri-Party Repo, and FHLB.
• Refine liquidity forecasting framework and develop new capabilities.
• Support growth of margin lending with scalable funding strategies.
• Create and manage a BAU Liquidity Forecast and Strategy to prepare for contingencies.
• Define strategies for robust liquidity forecasting under regulatory scrutiny.
• Act as thought leader and communicate strategies to regulators and executives.
• Influence Investment Strategy, Capital Management and funding plans.
