Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a senior leader to drive liquidity management, forecasting, and funding strategy. You will oversee cross-functional teams and coordinate with regulators and executive leadership to ensure robust liquidity and capital planning across our operations.

The role requires deep experience in liquidity forecasting, balance sheet modeling, and regulatory considerations, with the ability to lead a technical team and communicate complex strategies clearly.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of financial services experience with 8+ years in liquidity strategy and forecasting.
• Deep technical foundations across trading, funding/repo desks, liquidity risk and balance sheet modeling.
• Experience leading a technically oriented team of liquidity/funding analysts.
• Deep expertise in investment strategy related to diverse capital portfolios and collateral management.
• Understanding of 15c3-3 calculations and their impact on liquidity management.
• Experience navigating evolving regulatory requirements with sound judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior leaders and regulators.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred; CFA or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive liquidity funding plan across entities.
• Lead the integration of functional and modeling teams into a cohesive framework.
• Communicate funding strategies to regulators, investors, and executives.
• Support development of liquidity forecasting and remediation of regulatory actions.
• Guide investment strategy and capital management related to liquidity planning and collateral management.
