Job summary

KBR is seeking a Director, Legal Operations & Finance to lead global legal operations, budgeting, e-discovery, and technology enablement across our legal function. You will partner with the GC and senior leaders to drive cost efficiency, risk management, and scalable processes.

The role requires strategic vision, strong financial discipline, and a track record of building high‑performing teams to enable practical business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field.
• 10+ years in legal operations or related function, with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Experience managing direct reports and cross-functional project teams.
• Strong understanding of in-house legal department operations, including spend, workflows, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Set priorities with legal leadership and drive execution.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and reporting with Finance.
• Manage outside counsel and vendor engagements, billing and onboarding.
• Lead e-discovery governance and data management, including AI initiatives.
• Drive process improvements and technology roadmap for legal ops.
• Lead and develop the legal operations team.
