Job summary

Alliance Defending Freedom seeks a Director of Professional Development to shape the Blackstone Fellowship’s curriculum, assessments, and advisory network. You will design and refine the program, recruit senior practitioners, and coordinate with legal talent partners to place fellows in meaningful positions.

The role requires a J.D. with an active US bar license and at least five years in public policy or government affairs, plus strong leadership and communications skills.

Qualifications

• JD degree and active license to practice law in at least one US state.
• 5+ years of experience in public policy advocacy, governmental relations/affairs, or legislative work at federal or state level.

Responsibilities

• Form and defend judgments on program interns and fellows’ capacity and fit.
• Develop and maintain assessment framework for the professional development function.
• Oversee clerkship outcomes, advising on career decisions and opportunities.
