Role Description

The Director of Leasing Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Atlanta, GA. This position oversees leasing strategy and operations, including planning, implementing, and optimizing leasing and marketing initiatives across assigned properties.

CLASS Operations - 60% of the time:

• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers to understand their goals and objectives and ensure CLASS helps them meet their goals
• Proactively engage with customers to ensure they are deriving maximum value with CLASS and our leasing services
• Serve as the secondarycontact for customer inquiries, issues, and escalations for customers with the Customer Success Managers
• Conduct start-up meetings and represent CLASS as needed
• Manage all scheduling of client engagements and Leasing Specialist assignments

Coaching Leasing Specialists - 20% of the time:

• Monitor performance of the Leasing Specialists you manage through conversion ratios, closing ratio, and activities conducted (calls, tours, follow-ups)
• Mentor and coach Leasing Specialists to higher performancewith their Customer Success Manager
• Bring Positive Mental Attitude to the team
• Build a unique, fun, and exciting culture to CLASS

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition- 10% of the time:

• Conduct interviews for new Leasing Specialists
• Hire high-potential Leasing Specialists
• Work with People Operations Manager to broaden CLASS' Talent Acquisition strategy

Training Facilitator - 10% of the time:

• Provide feedback to Director of Training to update training based on your experience
• Facilitate training as needed if team members are out of office or on startups
• Accompany Director of Training or lead external training with customers as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Experience in the multifamily industry - ideal candidate will have been a Regional Manager or have overseen multiple properties and have experience increasing the leasing activity onsite
• Experience on conventional, affordable housing, student, and senior properties (preferred to have all, but not required)
• Experience on class A, B, and C properties
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple customers and projects simultaneously
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
