Qualifications

• Master’s degree with certification in special education.

• Ability to interpret educational and psychological assessments.

• Maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgement.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must successfully complete a background check and Safe Environment Program.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for students with learning differences and support academic success.
• Coordinate accommodations, testing supports, assistive technology, and communications among stakeholders.
• Meet with students and families to discuss learning styles, study skills, and self-advocacy.
• Review data to identify needs and recommend interventions.
• Develop and monitor accommodation plans and support strategies.
• Assist with course selection, academic planning, and goals.
• Collaborate with administration on scheduling and placements.
• Monitor progress and effectiveness of support services.
