Job summary
Simtra BioPharma Solutions is seeking a dynamic Director of Operational Excellence at our Bloomington site to lead lean initiatives that improve quality and delivery of life-saving medicines. You will partner with manufacturing, quality, and support functions, develop KPI dashboards, and mentor OpEx professionals to sustain a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline.
The role reports to the Site Head and requires 10+ years in regulated pharma ops, with strong leadership,
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 10+ years pharma/manufacturing ops experience.
- 5+ years in people leadership.
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead OpEx initiatives and production system rollout.
- Drive lean execution and continuous improvement.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards with digital teams.
- Coach operators on shop floor.
- Ensure RFT and On-Time Delivery.
