Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions seeks a Director of Operational Excellence to drive performance improvement at the Bloomington site. You will implement Lean Six Sigma, optimize manufacturing and quality processes, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of sterile products.

You will lead a team of OpEx professionals, develop annual objectives, and partner with digital teams to create dashboards and KPI reviews for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Operations management or related field
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical or similarly regulated manufacturing operations with 5+ years in people leadership
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving change
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities

• Develop the Simtra Production System based on Lean Six Sigma
• Lead and mentor OpEx professionals and drive a culture of continuous lean improvement
• Develop and execute annual OpEx objectives and projects with measurable KPIs
• Oversee shop floor presence to coach operators and supervisors on the Simtra Production System
• Build dashboards and executive scorecards with digital teams to track performance with KPIs (RFT, OTD)
